Elaine Phillips is an Individual, Marriage and Family Therapist, and has earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Winnipeg.
Her prior education includes her Bachelor of Arts in Conflict Resolution Studies, as well as her certificate in Applied Counselling from Red River College.
Elaine works with individuals, families and couples, using an integrated approach to therapy. She has extensive experience working with trauma and understanding the effects of trauma on people’s lives (including patterns in intergenerational trauma). Her clients have ranged from young children to seniors over 80 years old. All ages are welcome!
Elaine has a passion in working with clients who have suffered grief, loss, divorce, navigating life cycle stages, changes and concerns associated with ageing. As a mother to six wonderful children, Elaine has gained a great deal of personal experience with children and young adults. She is passionate about supporting families who may have some concerns with parenting or family conflict..
Justine McIntosh

Justine McIntosh is a Psychotherapist who graduated from her Masters program In Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She obtained her B.A with a major in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology from Saint Mary’s University.
Justine uses a very client-focused approach while in session. This means that she focuses on the client as a whole and not just a particular problem. Throughout the sessions, Justine regularly uses Narrative therapy and Brief-Solution Focused Therapy.
Justine has a passion for working with clients who are experiencing difficulty with navigating life changes, life identification issues and everyday disorders that may be effecting their lives. Being an athlete her entire life, Justine has a strong interest in working with athletes and all the challenges that may arise within that career.
Ms. Acksanna Bell

Acksanna Bell is a licensed Individual, Marriage and Family therapist. She has obtained her B.A. in psychology and conflict resolution studies from the university of Winnipeg, her Master’s in Marriage and Family counselling from Liberty University, and extended Sex Therapy education from University of Guelph.
Acksanna spent years working in the United States in a variety of therapeutic settings and has training and skills in working with a large variety of mental disorders, modalities, and with people from all walks of life. She relocated back to Winnipeg in 2018 to pursue private practice in her hometown and works with individuals and couples (married/non-married) at The Practice; which is right in the neighbourhood in which she grew up in.
Acksanna has experience in working with severe mental health issues, including those who are court-ordered to pursue professional therapy. while Acksanna cannot diagnose in Manitoba, she has experience in assessing and diagnosing, as well as expertise in relationship issues, anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood/behavioural disorders, anger management and parenting classes. She is also a trained facilitator for compatibility testing for couples, as well as extended education and training in sex therapy.
She strives and advocates for creating work life balance as she prioritizes being both a therapist to her patients and a hands on mom to her children. She also advocates going to therapy and openly shares about being a therapist who has seen mental health professionals for navigating her own mental health concerns.
